Back then, it stretched over an area of 16,000 m² and was arranged in strict geometric shapes with paths and flower areas. It was called ISLJOANA, after the crafts school around which it was built at the time, and is the basis around which today's City Park is further shaped. The biggest change in terms of its structure and size was made in the 70s of the 20th century, when the Basic Master Project for the City Park was made, and the first significant reconstruction was made in 2009.
